The Tudor barn
A magnificent 16th century barn sleeps up to 24+ in a one-group booking
Magnificent but not stiflingly posh … so said a previous guest. The Tudor barn with adjoining cartlodge provides large group, farm stay self-catering accommodation - space to be together and space to be apart. It is huge - a flexible, space for gathering peacefully, celebrating, feasting, dancing, playing games around the woodburner in winter and in summer playing tennis or croquet in the herb garden or borrowing our 20+ bikes to explore the area. Feasting & gatherings
The large well-equipped kitchen has 21st century facilities - and we’ll unpack your supermarket delivery, give you tips on the best local food and drink and if you’d rather not cook yourselves, we’ll put you in touch with a local chef.
Feast in the barn at oak banquet tables 14-50 guests. On summer evenings, enjoy the barbecue and croquet in the herb garden with picnic tables. By arrangement invite extra up to 80 guests for a special gathering.
Relax on comfy sofas around the woodburner in winter - or in summer, in the garden with rugs and picnic benches.
